§ 445. Order of support by relative; duration. (a) If the court finds after a hearing that a relative, including a step-parent, should be held responsible under section four hundred fifteen for support, the court in its discretion may make an order requiring such person to contribute a fair and reasonable sum for the support of such person.
(b) For good cause shown, the court may at any time terminate or modify an order made under this section.
If a relative or step-parent should be responsible under § 415, the court may order a fair contribution and may terminate or modify it at any time for good cause.
