§ 642. Rules of court. Rules of court, not inconsistent with any provision of article seven of the domestic relations law, may authorize the probation service to interview such persons and obtain such data as will aid the court in determining a petition under that article.
Rules may let the probation service interview people and gather data to help decide an adoption petition (consistent with DRL Art. 7).
